REPOST For Pattern buyer August 3 2019

I am cutting this out and then I can whip it together and wear it tomorrow....Beautiful colors.

Very light and airy material

How great is this? Flowy Dress and a Golden Yellow matches better than you can tell in the picture for a Crepe Chiffon Flowy jacket to go with it.... and I probably with combine a Royal Blue and a yellow scarf to hang on the sides for accent on the jacket.... OOOOOH.... fun.....

Note Earrings are on the scarf
So far, two scarves - one dress material- one blue jacket lace scarf with scallops on the end...and there will be one yellow one and a yellow jacket the same yellow as in the dress.

This jacket was made by folding the material and cutting a neckline, and sleeve holds, adding sleeves so scallops are on the end of the sleeves and cutting the jacket body so the scallops were on the bottom.  This piece of lace had an extra piece with scallops on the end, so I cut a strip like you would a kimono and folded it so it would be top stitched on the end.  Before work I will have 4 pairs of earrings, 1 pair matching the dress material, 1 pair matching this blue jacket and 1 pair matching the yellow jacket, plus 1 pair combining the blue lace over the yellow jacket material, and two jackets to choose from- a blue lace and a yellow jacket.  The top of the blue jacket is just folded over lace over the raw edge to give it the finished look.

Finished and wore to work!

TIME FOR COMFY PJS FOR WORK AT HOME

I have some comfy cotton knit in my stash:

Remember you can still order online from GstreetFabrics.com
25% off and maybe a 10 or 20 $ coupon if you are over 50 or 100 after the 25% off.  Check the site...

Remember my old vintage patterns may still be available from Etsy sellers or Ebay, so just search for the vender and number and say sewing pattern  and whoever has it will come up!

Chose Patterns:  Simplicity 8022 1 piece pants pattern and NEW LOOK 6086..another easy top pattern I had on my shelf

I used some white twill tape I had on the table for the drawstring-- I only needed 1 1/4 yards of 60 inch wide for the pants....2 5/8 does both the view E undershirt and the View C over shirt  ---  Just under 4 yards for this comfy PJ outfit....

QUARANTINE COMFY

The fabric is so soft...since I am not working at G Street Fabrics anymore... I have to be comfy in front of my sewing machine, laptop and camera... ETSY SHOP

I made View C and made bias out of the same fabric for the neck, and view E for an undershirt of the same cotton knit fabric.... These are sooooo comfy... I am sure to get a lot of work done with my backup of coffee.... You know how I love the coffee fuel......Here I am in all my comfyness.... But I will still ride my exercise bike and drink my very large bottle of water while I ride it and use my shake weights routine while I ride...  Tomorrows plan... is Friday kayaking.... hmmmmm I can't wait.

See I have the view E as a T shirt under the Top View C over the drawstring pants..... That's your challenge

Yes, girls!  I did cut 4 inches off my hair.... just getting comfy..

I am going to go Ride the Bike-Drink Water-  Then put some outfits on Etsy and drink Coffee.... then work on my quilt and maybe do a pre cut package so STAY TUNED  for

SELF-QUARANTINE PRODUCTION

If you like to quilt -  I will also put some pre-cut quilt packages in the shop... be ready for sewing made easy.

Leopard and Panther Tote-Shoulder Backpack

I am attempting to make this bag... the pictures of the cat tapestries came from G Street Fabrics... and the black is neoprene... the request is a wide shoulder strap and the two cats one on each side, but I am not sure about the strap attachment, the closure...drawstring with zipper or velcro flap and some type of pockets behind the cats....They emailed me a picture of a bag style and I did this in paint to see how it would look

These are drawings in paint as I try to figure out exactly what materials to use where.

Made side strips with pocket added to panels then put both panels together

Neoprene shortage... will line with something else, but using as a wide strapping and top casing shorts me on the bottom trim.... will figure this out

Sew the bottom trim on...top casing and bottom edge

I will sew the last seam and know the size of the bottom circle piece then lining and strap attachment

This is like a duffle bag... so I am going to put the double bungie pull strings through the top trim and a zipper that has large teeth and the ability to use a strap on the side or on the top  or regular backpack style.  ----> little drawing

Thinking through the strapping... I think I will put Loops on both sides top and bottom and on the inside top above zipper on both sides... Then He can wear as backpack regular or diagonal or carry handle.  Loops Sewn in Seams with 3 strappings that are adjustable

Now the Drawstrings at top-using bungie type narrow elastic and cord locks.

I will post a picture with details after I finish it.

At this point the top enclosure has been sewn in with a zipper closing.   So next the lining.

Originally I made the lining out of vinyl, but checked with the future user and we decided that was too heavy.  So, using the lining previously made as a pattern, made it out of a light pleather, but decided to add a zippered pocket to the inside and a loop to hang a detachable bag in the inside for ??

Strapping in pleather doubled for strength but softness can be inserted 3 ways... as backpack, as a barrel duffle bag style supporting underneath or as an over the shoulder vertical bag

original lining in vinyl to copy for pleather lining

Original neoprene top changed into inside detachable zipper bag

Two Loops inside the Tote to hang this bag from and Extra straps not in use inside the bag...  DONE  DONE DONE and GONE.... Back to sewing the crazy cat quilt and gifts and clothes.....
